Aurimas Bukauskas holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Building Technology discipline stream at MIT School of Architecture and Planning. Currently he is a PhD Candidate at the University of Bath in the UK. His interests and recent work have focused on sustainable, traditional, low-cost building methods in developing countries. He is involved in the design of a community library in the town of Makuleke, South Africa with a group of other undergraduate architecture students. When not in school, Aurimas likes to travel on foot, grow plants, and play folk music.
