Diego Pinochet

Diego Pinochet holds a B.Arch and a M.Arch in the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC) and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies (SMArchS) from MIT. His research is focused in digital design and interactive fabrication, Building Information Modelling BIM, and Interactive Applications. Diego has taught in many universities in Chile in the area of digital design , programming, digital fabrication, design studios and as advisor in several thesis projects. In 2015 he won the First Prize in the Youfab Global Creative Awards in Tokyo, Japan, with the project 'Making Gestures: A personal fabrication system´. He is the co founder of TFPS Architects, an chilean based architecture studio that won the ´Building of the year 2009´award for his project `Huanacu Warehouse and Offices' . He is the co founder of escript-o (escripto.wordpress.com) a blog focused in research about digital technologies applied to architecture and design.
