This semester (spring 2003), I am taking 11.016 (The City). The main component of this class is to choose a site in the Boston area and study it. I have chosen Maverick Square in East Boston.

This project was done by Dan "SPUI" Moraseski. Use any parts of it however you wish, as long as you give me (or the original author, in the case of old maps) credit.

Compared to many of the other project websites, this one is very plain. This is a conscious decision on my part. I prefer plain sites to fancy sites; it is the content that matters to me.
