The Computation Reading Seminar (Read DCG) establishes a collective space for reading and discussing important texts in the trajectories of its participants' research. Each week, a different member of Read DCG takes the role of coordinator. The coordinator is responsible for assigning a reading for the forthcoming meeting and proposing general questions during discussion. Members of the seminar are encouraged to propose titles relevant to the assigned reading, and to participate in the documentation of a bottom-up bibliography at the end of each meeting. The goals of Read DCG are to initiate a process of collaborative reading opening texts to a multitude of interpretations and to create a growing repository of book titles, articles and papers mapping the current interests of the group – in anticipation of future extension.
