Jennifer Ferng received her Ph.D. from the History, Theory, & Criticism of Architecture and Art program at MIT in February 2012. She holds professional degrees in architecture from Rice University and Princeton University. Her fields of expertise include eighteenth and nineteenth-century European architecture and the decorative arts as well as broader areas in design history, history of science, and history of technology. In July 2012, she will be a tenure-track lecturer in architectural history/theory in the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Planning at the University of Sydney.
