Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH)

A voluntary initiative that seeks to accelerate the creation and widespread use of advanced technologies to radically improve the quality, durability, environmental performance, energy efficiency, and affordability of our Nation's housing. Website is somewhat government-agency-ish/bureaucratic/propaganda-ish, but decent database of emerging housing technologies.

Information on many different types of buildings and construction techniques, and the prevention and control of fire.

Government information on America's homes and communities.

Fraunhofer Institut Bauphysik

R&D, testing, consulting, etc., in all fields of building physics. Includes: energy saving measure, problems of indoor climate, emissions of building materials, moisture and weathering protection and preservation of buildings and historical monuments. Develop new materials, components, and systems.

Dept. of Energy--Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Network

Comprehensive database of many types of energy technologies.
