Azra Aksamija received a Travel Fellowship in the History of Art from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.

Nancy Demerdash (AKPIA SMArchS est. June '09) has accepted the offer in Princeton University's PhD program in Art & Archeology

Jennifer Ferng received a Bourse Jeanne Marandon Fellowship, La Société des Professeurs Français et Francophones d'Amérique (SPFFA), 2009-2010, and a Samuel H. Kress Institutional Fellowship in the History of Art, Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art (INHA), 2009-2011.

Z. Pamela Karimi (PhD est. Sept '09) has accepted a tenure-track appointment at UMass-Dartmouth's College of Visual and Performing Arts

Ateya Khorakiwala (HTC SMArchS est. June '09) has accepted the offer in Harvard’s University Graduate School of Design's PhD program.

Anneka Lenssen received a U.S. Student Fulbright grant, sponsored by the Institute of International Education (IIE), 2009-2010.

John Lopez (Phd candidate) received the 2009 Edilia and François-Augute de Montêquin Junior Fellowship in Iberian and Latin American Architecture from the Society of Architectural Historians, and was awarded a Fulbright/Garcia Robles grant from the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the U.S.-Mexico Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (COMEXUS).

Fabiola Lopez-Duran received a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Humanities for 2009-2011 at the University of California, Berkeley.

Karin Oen received a CIS Summer Study Grant from MIT’s Center for International Studies.

Sarah Rogers (PhD '08) received a 2009-2010 Terra Foundation for American Art Fellowship at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
