Carlos Cerezo Davila

Carlos is a Spanish architect and sustainability/energy researcher. He joined the MIT Architecture Department as a PhD student in the Building Technology Program in 2013. He graduated from the Architecture School of Seville (Spain) in 2010 and he holds a Master in Design Studies (Sustainable Design) from Harvard University, where he also worked as a teaching and research assistant developing a lifecycle embodied energy analysis tool. His current research, working with Prof. Christoph Reinhart, is focused on Life Cycle Analysis and long term simulation of energy and carbon impacts in the built environment, with special interests in questions of urban conservation and management of building stocks.
