Taeseop Shin

      Taeseop Shin is an architectural designer and researcher based in Boston. He is currently a Master of Architecture candidate in Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Konkuk University in Seoul, graduated as Salutatorian in his major. He also received diverse recognition in multiple design competitions. He was awarded the Junglim Architecture Student Award in 2014 and honored a Minister of family prize in the International Architecture Competition for Youth in 2012. 

      Since 2012, Taeseop has been exploring the possibilities of combining architecture, art, and engineering. He honored a Minister of Land and Infrastructure prize in National Exhibition of Korea Landscape Architecture in 2013, and exhibited the work at Seoul Art Center. Now he is studying new architectural design processes in a contemporary urban environment at MIT with researchers from various fields of urban planning and engineering.
