This workshop is based on a critical overview of current practice in Corporate Real Estate (CRE) in contemporary business. We will explore why  CRE has developed in its current forms in order to identify where the most promising opportunities for innovation and improvement lie. Particular consideration will be given to rethinking key management processes – such as how best to prepare strategic briefs for architecture and interior design, how to improve the relationship between CRE and Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR), how to develop design guidelines. The overall objective is to demonstrate to architectural students, to MBA students and to students in the Center for Real Estate the most practical ways in which design can be used to enhance business performance.
