Leo Su

Leo Su (SMBT ’15)

is the Engineering Manager at DemandQ, a technology company dedicated to reducing the electricity cost of commercial buildings through innovative optimization software. During his time with the MIT Building Technology Lab, Leo focused on the research and demonstration of novel algorithms that utilized building climate control systems to improve electric grid stability and to enable more renewable power on the grid. Leo previously worked at Fraunhofer USA, Smith and Andersen Consulting Engineers, and the Tanz Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases. Prior to MIT, Leo attended the University of Toronto (BASc ’13) where he studied Energy Systems and Engineering Business. Outside of work, Leo is a competitive ballroom dancer with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team.
