Shokofeh is a SMArchS student in the Design and Computation group. She is interested in computational design and fabrication, materials science, and active origami.
Prior to MIT she earned her professional degree in Master of Architecture from Pennsylvania State University, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University. She co-taught courses in Design Computation and Robotics Fabrication at Penn State and worked as R&D intern at A. Zahner Company, and Design intern at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
