Aidan Flynn

Aidan Flynn is a graduate student in the History, Theory, and Criticism of Architecture and Art program at MIT. He holds a BA (Hons.) with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, where he double majored in Art History and Renaissance Studies. Prior to joining MIT, Aidan was the J.M. Richard Corbet Fellow at the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies of Victoria College and worked as a Research Assistant to the Digitally Encoded Census and Information Mapping Archive (DECIMA). His research is concerned with the relationship between queerness and urbanism in the early modern city. More specifically, Aidan is interested in how sexuality at this time can be examined through the physical and psychological negotiations of space.
