Ana McIntosh

Ana McIntosh received a Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida in 2018 and is currently an M.Arch candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her professional experience includes working in the corporate and healthcare markets at RS&H in Jacksonville, FL. More recently she has worked at Studio Ma, in Phoenix, AZ, where she developed fa├žade strategies using daylighting and energy optimization tools. Her recent academic work explores speculative climate fictions and investigates how overlapping program facilitates formal and informal encounters among occupants. She hopes to further explore architectural agency responding to both social and environmental concerns in search of a more equitable future.
