Arditha Auriyane

Arditha received her Master of Architecture degree from MIT in 2021, and Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UCLA in 2015. She is interested in the temporal aspects of thermal properties in materials and thermodynamics in architecture, as explored in her first Core project and her master thesis. Her thesis explores the expanded notion of comfort in terms of thermal and cultural experience, combining vernacular village aspirations and the need of density, in the context of Jakarta and the global climate change.
