Five days of Japanese woodworking with Master carpenter Takami Kawai, founder of the Suikoushya International Craftschool based in Kyoto, Japan. https://suikoushya.com/en/suikoushya-2/.

There will be three levels of workshops offered. This is level 3, 5 day-workshop: an introduction to Japanese woodworking tools, making of a Japanese handplane body and making of traditional Japanese joinery. (see program below).

For this workshop, the students are highly encouraged to buy their own handplane blade (expected cost: $80). The order will be organized after the selection process (mid-December).
