Isabel Bailey

Isabel Bailey is a PhD student in the History, Theory, and Criticism of Architecture and Art program at MIT. She is interested in the ways nineteenth and twentieth century settlement, construction, and infrastructure shaped and altered a range of social environments across Siberia, the Bering Strait, and Alaska. She earned her MA in the History of Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art and her BA in European Studies and Russian Language from the University of Vermont Honors College.
