Nermine Hassanin

Nermine Hassanin is a Master of Architecture candidate at MIT whose research explores how wind, sound, and memory shape spatial experience. With a background in architecture from the University of Toronto, she investigates wind-driven acoustics and indigenous knowledge systems to understand how environmental forces can carry stories and generate form. Her work combines computational design, digital fabrication, and robotics to develop architectures that listen, respond, and resonate—shaped by wind, grounded in matter, and attuned to place.
