Rutvik Deshpande
Rutvik is a researcher at the Urban Risk Lab at MIT and pursuing a master’s degree in Building Technology. With a background in architecture from India, Rutvik previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at a Singapore based, AI-Architecture startup, Digital Blue Foam. His research explores the intersection of design and technology, focusing on data-driven workflows at both architectural and urban scales. He works with computational design, machine learning, deep learning, and synthetic data generation to shape more sustainable and resilient cities. Rutvik's work has been accepted in leading international conferences such as CAADRIA, Design Modelling Symposium (DMS), and Design Computing and Cognition (DCC). He is one of the youngest recipients of the "Young CAADRIA Award" (2023).
