Ekin Bilal is an designer, researcher and cofounder of NOT NOT, an architectural design practice. Through design and representation, his work examines the regulatory and economic paper trail that shapes architecture and approaches maintenance, material circularity, and back-of-house infrastructures as sites for political and creative inquiry.

Previously, Ekin has worked in design and master facilities planning for public library networks, working with communities across the US to reimagine the future of neighborhood libraries. His work has been exhibited in Salone del Mobile 2022, Venice Architecture Biennial 2023 and 2025. Ekin received a Master of Science in Architecture from MIT and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
