Bo-Won Keum

Bo-Won Keum is an independent graphic designer, researcher, and educator. She is the co-editor of Dear Books to Prisoners: Letters from the Incarcerated and current design director of the Brooklyn Rail. Clients and collaborators include The Marshall Project, the Center for Urban Pedagogy, and Triple Canopy. She is the recipient of the Maraham STEAM Fellowship and was an artist-in-residence with the US National Parks in 2023 and 2024. She has also been a speaker at Design Indaba and the Center for Fiction. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD.
