Kaelyn Bowers

Kaelyn Bowers is currently a second-year Master of Architecture candidate from Los Angeles, California. She is a 2026 MIT Freedom Summer Fellow and serves as the NOMAS Treasurer. 

Prior to MIT, she earned a B.A. in Architecture with a minor in Environmental Science from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2023. While at Barnard, Kaelyn conducted research through the Summer Research Institute, worked as a Science Writing Fellow, was Secretary of the Architecture Society, and joined NOMA.

After graduating, Kaelyn was selected as a NOMA Foundation Fellow at the integrated design firm DLR Group where she later worked across sectors as a Designer and Planner in the NYC office. While working, she volunteered as a mentor for ACE, served as her office's equity and climate champion, and became a member of ULI's young professionals' cohort.
