Yuval Ayali
Yuval Ayali is a designer and researcher working at the intersection of computational fabrication, programmable materials, and ecological systems. His research focuses on developing custom machines, algorithms, and material workflows that harness environmental forces as active agents in fabrication and construction.
His work has been exhibited at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale and published at CAADRIA 2025. He has received Bezalel's Sustainability Excellence Award, and has collaborated with WASP Italy, PCBWay, and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Ayali holds a B.Des. in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. He currently teaches Digital Fabrication at the NSoA and works as an industrial designer at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He will join the SMArchS Computation program at MIT in September 2026.
