Agnes Parker

Agnes Parker is a designer and researcher bridging architecture, materials, and textiles. She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture with first class honors and received the British Council Venice Fellowship and SOS design residency (Design Museum London/ICA). Currently a research assistant at MIT's Self Assembly Lab, her work focuses on computational knitting and textile innovation, with particular interest in new manufacturing techniques, biomaterials and the circular economy. At MIT, she has received the 2024 KPF Travel Fellowship, the TextielLab | TextielMuseum graduation project award. In 2025, as one of eight young designers globally she received a Venice Biennale College Architettura grant to exhibit at the 2025 Architecture Biennale where her work looked how biomaterials and textiles could be combined to create resilient architectures that cool and shade.
