Jeonghyun Yoon

Jeonghyun Yoon (she/her) is a multidisciplinary designer and maker. She holds Bachelor's Degrees in Interior Architecture and with a minor in Visual Communication Design at Hongik University in Seoul, Korea. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Architecture at MIT. Prior to MIT, Jeonghyun worked as a set designer for the Netflix original series, “The Silent Sea.”

With a diverse background in architecture, interior design, and graphic design, her interest lies in exploring materials at various scales, from their physical properties to applications in buildings. In 2018, she initiated STUFF, an interdisciplinary design collective based in Seoul. Jeonghyun has been actively involved in a number of design exhibitions, including the Korean Pavilion in the Venice Biennale 2021. Today, she continues to channel her experiences in tectonic explorations through hands-on and digital fabrication, along with interests in different modes of visual representations.
